Facilitator S. Rout and Fab Lab In-charge Sarbeswar Rout guided students through a full-day project preparation session at the Kallinga Fab Lab, Balia Posi, Odisha. Students worked on improving their project designs, testing components, and discussing innovative ideas in preparation for the inter-college competition at Trident College of Engineering. Guidance was provided to help each team refine their concepts and present their projects effectively for the competition.

Facilitator Sunil MP and Fab Lab In-charge Sarbeswar Rout conducted a 90-minute interaction session with 30 students at the Kallinga Fab Lab, Balia Posi, Odisha. The session explored the scope of the Innovation Lab, ideas around entrepreneurship, and encouraged creative thinking. Students showed strong interest in AI, robotics, programming, and drones. Each student has been assigned an innovative idea to develop and present in the next session — with shortlisted ideas moving into prototype and product development.

Facilitator Sunil MP and Fab Lab In-charge Sarbeswar Rout conducted a 1-hour interaction session with 20 students at the Kallinga Fab Lab, Jajpur, Odisha. The session covered the aim and scope of the Innovation Lab, exploring entrepreneurship opportunities and creative thinking. Students were encouraged to ideate independently, with each assigned to develop and present their own innovative concept in the next session. Strong interest was again expressed in AI, robotics, programming, and drones — with 2–3 days given to prepare presentations for prototype and product development.

Facilitator Sunil MP and Fab Lab In-charge Sarbeswar Rout hosted a highly productive 2-hour Idea Submit Session at the Kallinga Fab Lab, Jajpur, Odisha. A total of 15 innovative ideas were collected, spanning drones, robotics, and programming. Every student delivered a presentation showcasing creativity and technical depth. All ideas were reviewed and appreciated, with a commitment to converting the best into real prototypes. Students were then organised into groups of six, each with a designated leader.

Kallinga Fab Lab — Drone Orientation Program · Activity 08 (Session 2026)

A landmark 5-hour Drone Orientation Program was organised at the Kallinga Fab Lab, Jajpur, Odisha, in association with Precision Airborne Systems Pvt. Ltd. — a DGCA-authorised Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO). The program was led by Mr. Aman Sharma (Drone Instructor) and Mr. Sudhir Maharana (Drone Designer), with coordination by Sarbeswar Rout (Fab Lab In-charge) and Sunil MP (Advisor, KIIF).

Around 50 students — from both Diploma and B.Tech programmes — participated alongside faculty members. The session covered drone components & assembly, operating principles, and real-world applications in agriculture, defence, photography, delivery, and disaster management. Students actively engaged, asked questions, and gained practical insight into building a career in drone technology.

Kallinga Fab Lab — Student Development Program · Activity 10 (Session 2026)

Facilitator Sunil MP (Advisor, KIIF) and Fab Lab In-charge Sarbeswar Rout conducted a 2-hour Student Development Program at the Kallinga Fab Lab, Jajpur, Odisha. The interactive session was designed to build students’ personality, communication, confidence, discipline, and career awareness through real-life examples and practical advice.

Sunil Sir emphasised self-confidence, positive thinking, and regular practice as pillars of success, and motivated students to improve their English speaking skills and participate in activities without hesitation. All students actively participated and gained valuable knowledge for personal and career growth.
